Kumta: A new masjid named “Masjid e Usmaniya” was inaugurated with Zohar prayers today on 26th September afternoon at Divalli in Kumta. The inauguration was initiated with performance of congregational Zohar prayers led by President of Jamiatul Huffaz, Bhatkal, Maulana Niyamatullah Askeri.

After the prayers, Maulana Younus Nadvi, who was present as the guest from Bhatkal, stressed the importance of populating the Masjids with Musallis (worshippers). Maulana also gave beneficial talk on establishing Masjids.

Apart from them, Maulana Iqbal Nadvi and Maulana Hidayatullah Nadvi too gave speeches.

The program began with the recitation of verses from holy Quran by Maulana Niyamatullah Askeri and concluded with Dua.
